Employment-related questions can arise quickly and often require timely, knowledgeable guidance. Having access to experienced legal counsel helps retailers address issues confidently, remain compliant, and focus on operating their business without unnecessary disruption.
Labor & Employment Consultation
PWADC provides members with access to labor and employment legal consultation through the law firm Lehr, Middlebrooks & Vreeland, P.C. These services are available at no cost to members, with the warehouse covering the legal retainer.
Document Review & Research Support
Legal services also include incidental review of employment-related documents, such as attorney correspondence, internal policies, and applicable materials, along with related legal research as needed.
Expanded Legal Services (As Needed)
If a member requires more in-depth legal services—such as formal legal opinions, responses to administrative investigations, or representation related to matters like EEOC charges, OSHA citations, or lawsuits—those services may be provided separately and billed directly to the retailer.
Member-Only Benefit
Legal consultation services are available exclusively to PWADC members, reinforcing the cooperative’s commitment to supporting retailers beyond distribution and operations.
